Merger of C J Koh & Co and Braddell Brothers A little-known fact about Braddell Brothers is that it incorporates the law firm established by Koh Choon Joo (C J Koh) after he left Sir Song Ong Siang's firm. The merger of Braddell Brothers and C J Koh & Co occurred when Harry Lee Wee - who was then in practice with C J Koh & Co - took over the helm of Braddell Brothers in the 1970s. The name of C J Koh today graces the Law Library of the National University of Singapore. In 2001, the National University of Singapore renamed it the C J Koh Law Library in Mr Koh's honour. » back to top |
