Admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2009. Professional / Academic History Kevin joined Braddell Brothers LLP in August 2010. Prior to joining us, Kevin practised in Rajah & Tann LLP, one of Singapore's largest law firms. During his time there, he had the opportunity and privilege to work with some of Singapore's most prominent litigators and Senior Counsel. Kevin graduated with honours from the National University of Singapore's Law Faculty in 2008. At Law School, Kevin performed admirably, winning various prestigious academic awards and achievements, among them the Law Society Book Prize (awarded to the top 2 students in each academic year) and the Rajah & Tann Corporate Insolvency Prize (awarded to the top student in the Corporate Insolvency Law Course). Outside the office, Kevin is a volunteer with the Law Society's Pro-Bono programme and provides free legal advice at various community legal clinics. Areas of Practice Kevin's practice covers a wide spectrum of general, civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters including, Company and Shareholder disputes, Landlord and Tenant disputes, General Tort Law, Corporate Insolvency & Restructuring, Bankruptcy Law as well as Banking Law. In addition, Kevin also has experience in matters involving Medical Litigation and Family and Matrimonial Law. Professional Highlights Kevin was part of a team of lawyers who represented the Judicial Managers of a well-known local public-listed company which successfully put in place a Scheme of Arrangement to restructure its debt. Kevin also advised the Judicial Managers (and subsequently the Liquidators) of the Singapore subsidiary of a group of companies that featured prominently in China's energy industry.
